The Little Details is a Mumbai-based interior design studio creating homes that feel considered, inviting, and distinctly personal.

Our work is rooted in a balance of structure and softness-where clean spatial planning meets a layered, lived-in sensibility. Each project is approached as a cohesive whole, with careful attention to how material, light, and detail come together to shape the overall atmosphere.

We design primarily residential spaces, with a focus on how homes are truly experienced—intuitive, comfortable, and reflective of the people who live in them.

By taking on a limited number of projects, we remain closely involved, ensuring each space is thoughtfully developed and carefully resolved.

Our interiors are layered and intentional, bringing together materials, textures, and objects in a way that feels cohesive and natural. Rather than minimal, we focus on creating spaces that feel complete-where every element contributes to the overall composition.

Each space is shaped as a response to the individual, reflecting personal rhythms, habits, and ways of living.

Particular attention is given to the final layer—the styling, subtle contrasts, and details that bring comfort and character to a home. These elements give a space its identity, adding ease and a lived-in quality.

the Founder

Jesal Lodha is the founder and creative director of The Little Details, with over a decade of experience in interior design.

Her work is defined by a nuanced understanding of spatial harmony and a considered approach to detail. Guided by intuition as much as discipline, she approaches each project as a balance of form, function, and feeling.

She believes that well-designed spaces should feel as natural as they are refined-environments that support everyday living while offering a sense of ease and comfort.

Approach

Our process is structured yet flexible, guided by clarity and intuition at every stage.

We begin by understanding the client-their lifestyle, needs, and aspirations—allowing each project to be rooted in context and individuality.

From here, we develop the spatial and conceptual direction, shaping atmosphere, proportion, and flow into a cohesive vision.

Materiality and detail are then carefully considered, bringing together a balanced and cohesive design language across the space.

The design is brought to life through close coordination and execution, followed by final styling that completes the space with depth, warmth, and a sense of ease.
